Dussehra, a Hindu festival of India symbolizes the victory of ‘Good over Evil.’ It is the day when Lord Rama killed the ten headed demon king Ravana
RIS, Indirapuram celebrated Dussehra signifying victory of good over evil. Every child noted one negative trait within them which they want to overcome and accumulated in the bag of negative traits which was burnt in the fire of Ravan Dahan.
The celebrations began with a skit on Modern Ramayana, followed by musical performance on Dussehra with instrumental music. The next part was solo dance performance by Kritika of Class IV.
Student Council prefects spoke on the importance and significance of the festival and why it is celebrated across the country.
Finally, was the eco friendly Ravan Dahan supporting the concept of “Say No to Crackers”. Kids enjoyed the celebrations and participated in all the activities with full enthusiasm and energy.
